Sim Chi Yin is currently a journalist with The New Paper, after stints as intern-photographer and full-time journalist with The Straits Times, both major newspapers in Singapore. She graduated with a Master's in History from the London School of Economics. She was a finalist in the 1999 Ian Parry Award, a photojournalism competition run by The Sunday Times of London. Between 1999 and 2001, she documented a Moaist village in China and the Roma, or Gypsies, in Oradea, northwest Romania. Her works have been exhibited in London.

Joyce Fang has a degree in business from the University of Oklahoma, but left a fine arts degree in photography half-completed because of escalating costs. She worked as a photographer in a small firm before joining The Straits Times a year later.

How Hwee Young is a photographer with The Straits Times. Trained as an accountant at the Nanyang Technological University, she spent half a year working with Ernst and Young as an auditor but, discovering her true passion to be photography, quit that job to shoot fulltime.

Law Kian Yan graduated from Nanyang Technological University in 1999 with a Bachelor's in Communications Studies, and has worked in several newspapers including the then Project Eyeball, Lianhe Zaobao and The New Paper. She is currently doing freelance photography and marketing.

Wong Maye-E is a former Straits Times photographer and currently shoots for the Associated Press. She graduated from Temasek Polytechnic's School of Design. In 2002, she won third prize for Best in Digital Photography in the Sports Category at the IFRA Public Asia Awards. She is currently working on a UN-funded project on AIDs in northern Thailand.

Wang Hui Fen is a photogapher with The Straits Times. She graduated with an honors degree in Graphic and Media Design from the London College of Printing in 1996, and worked as a graphic designer with several international advertising agencies before joining the now-defunct Project Eyeball newspaper in 1999, then moving on to the broadsheet.
