CROSSROADS: T and Q, both in their late teens, work Hanoi's streets for keep every day. They shine shoes of locals and tourists, saving up to send money home to their families in Hung Yen province, a two-hour busride from Hanoi. Neither could see beyond the daily grind to make sense of their future.
